Fashion House interview - April 2004Labeling groups has almost become an outdated pastime, and when we asked the members to describe their style they saw themselves as intelligent Harvard students that never attended Harvard. They don't see their sounds as anything new but nothing like anyone else... each song palpably different. With comparisons often leading to insult, they have no insecurity to admitting inspiration from Radiohead and Jeff Buckley.
"You derive your inspiration from the groups you love and follow and you shouldn't be afraid to admit that", as Gilles put it.

Monday Magazine interview - April 2004What, don't know the name? Well, you're probably familiar with Johnny Action Figure; add one member and you've got Ghost of Science. "We changed our name in October last year," Maillet explains. "There were other bands called Johnny Action Figure, like four of them. One of them had been giving us trouble since us coming together. We just figured they would go away,"he laughs, "but they never did."
